On May 11, 2023, the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) organized an expert review meeting in Changsha, Hunan, for three group standards in the pile foundation machinery field. The three group standards were applied for and led by Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sunward Intelligent), namely: "Torque Test Method for Power Head of Rotary Drilling Rig" (Plan No.: JH-2021-033), "Installation Test Method for Free-Fall Winch with Internal Expanding Clutch of Pile Frame" (Plan No.: JH-2021-034), and "Integral Multi-Way Valve for Hydraulic Pile Pressing Machine" (Plan No.: JH-2022-009).

The experts invited to this meeting came from universities, research institutes, testing institutions, complete machine enterprises, supporting enterprises, relevant standardization technical committees, etc. The experts were: Di Pengyuan, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Machinery Testing (Beijing) Vehicle Testing Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Guo Chuanxin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Pile Foundation Machinery Branch of the Association; Yu Haoshan, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Institute of Exploration Techniques, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences; Hu Junke, Professor of Central South University; Liu Shuang, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment; Zhang Shiping, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Beijing Sany Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.; and Ha Liang, R&D Manager of Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Technology Co., Ltd. More than 30 representatives from industry manufacturers, supporting enterprises, and other participating units also attended the meeting.

He first introduced the attending leaders, review experts, and participating units, and expressed a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all experts for their support of construction machinery group standardization work.

Guo Chuanxin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Pile Foundation Machinery Branch of the Association, delivered a speech

In his speech, Deputy Secretary-General Guo Chuanxin introduced the market demand and industry significance of developing the three group standards in the pile foundation machinery field, affirmed the efforts of Sunward Intelligent as the lead unit in the earlier stage, and hoped that the industry experts and enterprise representatives attending the meeting would pool their wisdom to standardize the quality of supporting products for construction machinery through the formulation of group standards and promote the overall technical level of the pile foundation machinery field.

In his speech, Deputy General Manager Zhu Jianxin briefly introduced the company's development history and its remarkable achievements in deeply cultivating the pile foundation machinery field, including complete product solutions. He focused on introducing the background of the formulation of the three group standards and put forward high requirements for the company's own standardization work.

At this group standard review meeting, Di Pengyuan, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Machinery Testing (Beijing) Vehicle Testing Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., was unanimously recommended as the head of the review expert group and chaired the standard review work.

The representative of Sunward Intelligent, on behalf of the standard drafting group, reported on the drafting of the three group standards in the pile foundation machinery field, providing a detailed introduction to the purpose and significance, work overview, drafting principles and main content explanation, domestic and foreign standards, and the text content of the standards.
With a rigorous, pragmatic, professional, and responsible attitude, the review experts fully discussed and exchanged views on the contents of each chapter in the draft standards submitted for review, put forward revision opinions and suggestions, and passed the review of the three draft group standards on the basis of consensus. Participating units also put forward reasonable suggestions based on actual work conditions.

The successful convening of this expert review meeting marks the basic completion of the drafting work for the three group standards in the pile foundation machinery field. Subsequently, the standard drafting group will revise and improve the text content based on the expert review opinions and complete the standard approval work as required.

Through the formulation of the three group standards in the pile foundation machinery field, a standard gap in the industry has been filled, the measurement methods for main performance indicators of construction machinery component products have been standardized, the reliability and safety of complete machine products have been ensured, and this has certain practical guiding significance for improving the technical level of pile foundation machinery.
