Foundation Engineering Network, "Foundation Engineering" Magazine News On April 15, 2023, the first drafting meeting for "Construction Machinery and Equipment - Drilling Tools for Rotary Drilling Rigs" was successfully held at Great Drill. The meeting was hosted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment, co-organized by Cangzhou Great Drill Bit Co., Ltd., and the standard was drafted under the leadership of Langfang Juli Exploration Technology Co., Ltd.

With China's sustained and stable economic growth coupled with the rapid advancement of urbanization, the rapid development of the construction industry has also led to the rapid development of corresponding upstream and downstream industries. Among them, the manufacturing of drilling tools as consumables has developed rapidly. However, due to the diversification of drilling tool parameters, shapes, installation and connection dimensions, and the lack of unified standard constraints, resources are easily wasted. Therefore, the formulation of the machinery industry standard "Construction Machinery and Equipment - Drilling Tools for Rotary Drilling Rigs" has become an imperative measure and must be put on the agenda.

According to Secretary-General Guo Chuanxin, this document was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation, drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents", and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment (SAC/TC 328). It is widely applicable to drilling tools and drilling teeth used in rotary drilling rigs. This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and parameters, shape, installation and connection dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of drilling tools for rotary drilling rigs (hereinafter referred to as drilling tools).

During the meeting, experts from Tianjin Saimeisi, Jiangmen Baorui, Xuzhou Chengda, Beijing Dafu, Beijing Ouzuan, Wuxi Xinliang Drilling Tools, Yanggu Haoquan, Changsha Jinzuan, Houji Engineering Machinery, Wenzhou Ruiji, Beijing Yahe, etc., also offered suggestions for the drafting of "Construction Machinery and Equipment - Drilling Tools for Rotary Drilling Rigs". Finally, with everyone's collective wisdom and brainstorming, preliminary drafting opinions for "Construction Machinery and Equipment - Drilling Tools for Rotary Drilling Rigs" were reached.
