日前，中铁十四局承建的甬舟铁路金塘海底隧道进口开工建设，标志着国内最长高铁海底隧道矿山法施工段开始施工。

甬舟铁路正线全长约76.4公里，线路西起宁波东站，向东延伸至舟山市金塘岛、册子岛及舟山本岛，是实现浙江省高铁1小时交通圈建设目标的重要工程。金塘海底隧道是甬舟铁路全线控制性工程，全长16.18公里，是国内设计长度最长、承受水压最大的海底高铁隧道。
中铁十四局承担了该隧道开挖、管片预制、铺轨等施工任务，含矿山法、盾构法施工段。矿山法施工段下穿既有隧道净间小，施工难度大。项目施工团队制定针对性监测方案，通过超前地质预报研判断层及不良地质变化范围，确保工程建设顺利推进。
甬舟铁路建成后，将结束舟山不通铁路的历史，对加快舟山及宁波融入“一带一路”和长江经济带国家经济发展战略，支撑长三角一体化国家重大战略实施具有重要意义。
