A batch of major water conservancy projects, including flood control and drought relief works and water diversion projects, have started construction.
The operating mileage of high-speed railways increased from 25,000 km to 42,000 km, and the mileage of expressways increased from 136,000 km to 177,000 km. 1.25 million km of rural roads were built or upgraded. Airport capacity increased by 400 million passenger trips. Installed power generation capacity grew by more than 40%.
