On February 6, two consecutive 7.8-magnitude earthquakes struck Turkey, causing heavy casualties and property losses. In response to the disaster, SANY Group quickly dispatched rescue teams. Within one day, three rescue teams were sent. Currently, the SANY rescue team has successfully joined forces with the 'National Team' China Rescue Team, becoming the first corporate rescue team to connect with the Chinese rescue team, and has successfully rescued 24 people.
Three Teams Depart! First to Connect with China Rescue Team

After the disaster, all forces within SANY Group quickly assembled. Under the personal coordination of SANY Heavy Industry Chairman Xiang Wenbo, within one day, three rescue teams set out from Istanbul, Ankara, and Beijing, racing overnight to the hardest-hit areas.
The first rescue team, organized by the nearby SANY Southeast Europe Region, set off from Istanbul and drove over 600 kilometers overnight, arriving at the disaster area first and successfully joining forces with the 'National Team' China Rescue Team.
Currently, the SANY rescue team is the first corporate rescue team to connect with the Chinese rescue team, providing equipment, personnel, and material support to the 'National Team' at any time.

On the way to the disaster area, aftershocks and traffic jams continued. After receiving a request for equipment support from the Chinese rescue team, Li Bin, captain of the SANY rescue team, replied: 'We are rushing over, racing against time, and our hearts are burning with anxiety.' Since the earthquake on February 6, he and his SANY colleagues had been hurrying on the road with heavy hearts, barely having time to sleep.

Li Bin introduced that SANY dispatched three rescue teams within one day, along with 30 excavators, 8 cranes, and more than 10 service vehicles to support the disaster area. They will do their utmost to support the Chinese rescue team's relief efforts.
At the same time, a rescue team organized by SANY Group's Putzmeister and a structural collapse rescue expert team selected by the domestic SANY Foundation also set out from Ankara and Beijing respectively, both arriving in the disaster area today and immediately engaging in relief work.
Life First! 24 People Successfully Rescued

In the face of the disaster, rescue work cannot stop for a moment. On the evening of February 8, in the severely affected Hatay city community, the SANY rescue team received an urgent local request for help—a 7-story small high-rise had collapsed, and the calls for help from inside were growing weaker.
In the ruins, two trapped individuals were pinned by debris and unable to escape. The temperature was dropping, and the situation was extremely critical. Upon learning that a SANY rescue team was nearby, Turkish rescue workers immediately sent them a request for help.

Soon, the SANY rescue team arrived with an excavator and quickly worked with local personnel to develop a rescue plan. The two sides cooperated fully, cautiously approaching while carefully digging. After 30 minutes, the heavy objects were finally moved away. People waiting nearby immediately rushed forward, lifting with hands and shoulders, and the two survivors, trapped for a long time, were finally rescued.

In addition, around 12 midnight, with the lifting of a SANY crane, a survivor who had persisted for 2 days under the rubble was rescued.
According to statistics, as of 18:00 Beijing time on February 9, in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş, and the İslahiye district of Gaziantep in Turkey, the SANY rescue team has successfully rescued 24 people.

On the packaging boxes of materials donated by SANY to the local area, a Turkish proverb is printed: 'Dost kara günde belli olur—A true friend appears in the dark day.' As an international Chinese enterprise, SANY Group has traveled thousands of miles to rescue solely for the sake of life, extending a helping hand in adversity and showing true friendship, working together to build a community with a shared future for mankind!
