In the pile foundation construction of the Niutianyang Grand Bridge, one XR550D worked with five rotary drilling rigs; the drilling depth reached 130 meters, and with complex geology and developed boulders, construction was highly difficult, with the single-pile hole completion time controlled at about 12 days.
