位于镇雄境内的筒车河特大桥作为镇七高速公路全线控制性工程全长1458米，桥面平均高度约70米，最大桥高约222米。
大桥一共22个墩，其中8号至11号墩为主墩，其中墩高187米的9号主墩高度。位列亚洲在建墩柱第一、建成后位列第二，筒车河特大桥主墩施工是全线的重中之重。
据了解，筒车河特大桥2022年上半年能够完成50%，年底能够累计完成80%以上的工程量。镇七高速路线，起于镇雄县以勒镇火草村，与宜毕高速公路相接途经镇雄县以勒镇、坡头镇堰塘村贵州境内七星关区大银镇场坝村，止于毕节市七星关区林口镇是连接宜毕高速公路和G76夏蓉高速之间的一条重要通道。镇七高速公路全长32.771公里，其中镇雄境内路线长度为24.215公里，贵州省境内的路线里程长度为8.556公里。
项目建设工期3年，该项目镇雄段于2019年12月正式开工建设。计划于2023年建成通车。
