Recently, the Shandong Provincial Government issued a notice announcing the list of major provincial projects for 2022. There are 600 major provincial projects in 2022, including 449 implementation projects and 151 preparatory projects, with a total investment of 2.14 trillion yuan.

The 2022 major provincial projects cover four major areas: major industries, major infrastructure, major platforms, and major social livelihood, with 383 projects each with an investment of over 1 billion yuan.
There are 329 major industrial projects with a total investment of 767.3 billion yuan. Deepen the transformation and upgrading of traditional kinetic energy, and promote a batch of technological upgrading and intelligent transformation projects in traditional advantageous industries; deepen the cultivation and expansion of new kinetic energy, plan and promote a batch of core industrial chain projects such as Geely Smart New Energy Vehicles, and a batch of innovation demonstration projects such as BOE IoT Display Devices, to enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.
There are 110 major infrastructure projects with a total investment of 1.05 trillion yuan. With the construction of the "Seven Networks" as the guide, focus on promoting the construction of comprehensive transportation facilities such as the Tianjin-Weifang section of the auxiliary channel of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and the second phase reconstruction and expansion of Jinan Airport; implement clean energy bases such as offshore wind power and county-wide distributed photovoltaic development, and accelerate the preliminary work of key nuclear power projects; build a batch of modern water network facilities such as water diversion, water supply and irrigation; coordinate and accelerate the construction of logistics, municipal, rural, and new infrastructure projects.
There are 87 major platform projects with a total investment of 202.9 billion yuan. Deepen cooperation with national and provincial research institutes, promote a batch of high-level innovation platforms such as the Advanced Nuclear Energy Research Base of Tsinghua University, and a batch of industrial collaboration platforms such as the Nuclear Safety and Nuclear Emergency Management Base of China National Nuclear Corporation and the Science and Technology R&D Center of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, to comprehensively enhance innovation carrying capacity and scientific research transformation level.

There are 74 major social livelihood projects with a total investment of 117.6 billion yuan. Around promoting the establishment of the Yellow River Estuary National Park, implement projects such as the ecological restoration along the Yellow River in Dongying; accelerate the construction of rehabilitation and elderly care, childcare and other convenience facilities, and implement a batch of key projects in the fields of health province and education powerhouse.
