On January 12, Changzhou Yuchai held its 2022 business work conference in Changzhou, Jiangsu, under the theme of "Going All Out to Continue the Glory." Attendees included Liang Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of Yuchai Heavy Industry; Zhang Chengwei, General Manager of Changzhou Yuchai; Chen Guangyu, Production Director of Changzhou Yuchai; section chiefs and above management personnel; and marketing staff from all sales regions.

The conference comprehensively summarized the achievements and shortcomings of Changzhou Yuchai's work in 2021 across various areas, including production and procurement, sales and service, debt control, product R&D, and quality improvement, and discussed and clarified the ideas and goals for the company's business work in 2022. In 2021, through the joint efforts of all employees, Changzhou Yuchai achieved breakthroughs in output, sales volume, and sales revenue compared with 2020, while also achieving remarkable results in new product R&D, overall machine cost reduction, clearing of historical debts, recovery of old payments, new market development, and inventory reduction.

At the meeting, Liang Xiaodong affirmed the progress made by Changzhou Yuchai in 2021 and put forward requirements for its business development work in 2022. He pointed out that Changzhou Yuchai should adopt a same-core diversified development strategy, stay focused on its main products, develop product diversity, and meet the needs of customers in emerging markets. It should strengthen management, conduct in-depth analysis, start from all aspects such as personnel, management, and resources, introduce lean production management concepts, cultivate talent pipelines, and gradually improve and standardize Changzhou Yuchai's management system, leading all employees to achieve greater progress and breakthroughs.
