This waterway regulation project follows the Grade III waterway regulation standard and covers 47.25 km of waterway, all located in Wujiang District, Suzhou City. The current construction section totals 22.7 km, with an estimated total investment of approximately RMB 815 million. Once the waterway regulation and upgrading are completed, a backbone water transport corridor spanning Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang will be formed, further improving the high-grade waterway network in the Yangtze River Delta region and providing strong support for the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. To do a good job, one must first sharpen one's tools! As a leading integrally transported modular rotary drilling rig, the Tysim KR50 rotary drilling rig can quickly switch between transport and working states. The whole machine weighs 25 tonnes, has an output torque of 5 tonne-metres, a working height of 10 m, a borehole diameter range of 0.4-1.2 m and a depth of 24 m. It is modified according to the adaptability of the excavator hydraulic system, making operation and maintenance simpler after modification. At the same time, according to customer needs, the customer's own excavator can be modified and fitted with the Tysim rotary drilling module to achieve the lowest cost.

In this waterway regulation construction, the main work of the Tysim KR50 drilling rig was to drive piles at specific points along the river channel to reinforce the embankments along the waterway. The on-site geological conditions were mainly silt, clay, hard soil and sand-gravel. The construction bored piles had a diameter of 0.8 m and a depth of 20 m, with a silt layer of 7-8 m. Because the equipment operated on a vessel and in water, and the silt layer is a formation prone to hole collapse, full casing was used down to the hard soil layer on site, with an average hole-forming time of about 2 hours. The drilling rig's efficient construction and high reliability increased construction efficiency while increasing the customer's construction volume and shortening the construction period, effectively bringing huge economic benefits to the customer and gaining high recognition from the customer.
