On December 6, Zoomlion's full-rotation rig assisted the No. 3 Branch of CREC No.4 Bureau's Lairong High-Speed Railway Project in the smooth construction of Pier No. 20 of the Ru Shan River Grand Bridge.

It is understood that the Zoomlion full-rotation drilling rig ZTR210H currently in operation is the only large drilling rig on the entire Lairong High-Speed Railway line and also the only one among high-speed railway projects under construction in Shandong Province. The equipment was officially put into use on the evening of December 5 at the Ru Shan River Grand Bridge section of the Weihai segment of the Lairong High-Speed Railway.

The Ru Shan River Grand Bridge is a key and difficult project in the Weihai segment of the Lairong High-Speed Railway. Its geological conditions are extremely complex, with special geological problems such as karst caves, underground rivers, and quicksand below. Traditional percussion drills and rotary drilling rigs cannot drill smoothly. Since construction equipment and personnel entered the site in early November, the project has invested a total of 6 sets of various drilling equipment and 26 construction workers, and has experienced more than 10 instances of hole collapse, backfilling, and redrilling, none of which achieved effective drilling. The No. 3 Branch of CREC No.4 Bureau's Lairong High-Speed Railway Project organized supervisors, designers, and other parties for technical discussions, and ultimately decided to introduce Zoomlion's full-rotation drilling rig ZRT210H.

ZRT210 has helped the Weihai segment of the Lairong High-Speed Railway operate at full capacity, accelerating the project construction speed. Bridge pile foundation construction is 98% complete, pier and abutment body works are 90% complete, and tunnel main bore excavation has cumulatively reached 7,944.6 meters. All construction is planned to be completed before the end of June.
