On November 24, as the mechanical roar of cross-passage construction in the right-line tunnel of the Chuangyiyuan Station–Fengsha Station section gradually ceased, it marked the full completion of civil construction for the 3202 bid section within the scheduled time node; at 10 a.m. the following day, the handover meeting for the right line and depot entry line tunnels of the Chuang–Feng section was successfully held, providing strong support for track laying on the first phase of Line 3.

The right line of the Chuang–Feng section is about 1.9 km long. The three cross-passages constructed in the later stage face complex and variable geological conditions, mainly including sandy clay, strongly to completely weathered granite, medium-coarse sand, silty fine sand and other unfavorable strata, with high water content and many buildings near the surface. The freezing method was adopted for construction. Whether during drilling, freezing or excavation, the working space was small and the difficulty was great, with high safety risks and control pressure.

To improve work efficiency, this bid section, for the first time during the construction peak, carried out work on three cross-passages simultaneously. Facing the risks, the owner's representative of the 3202 bid section took the initiative and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, leading the convening of risk analysis and discussion meetings and expert review meetings on multiple occasions, pooling wisdom to ensure that the construction process was foolproof.

With the aim of ensuring safety, controlling quantities and stabilizing progress, during the construction of major risks, the 3202 bid section repeatedly set up special safety duty teams, going deep into the construction frontline to coordinate and communicate with technical personnel of the construction unit and conduct risk inspections; at the same time, before construction, the project department was strictly required to implement management personnel duty and watchkeeping and to update monitoring data in real time, ensuring smooth construction.

Ultimately, with the concerted efforts of all participating parties, the right line of the Chuang–Feng section overcame a series of major risks and completed the construction of three cross-passages in the section in only five months with quality and quantity guaranteed, and handed it over for track laying within the scheduled time node.

With unwavering commitment, success is achieved through perseverance. The handover of the right line of this section strongly promoted the realization of the goal of "short-track connection" on both lines of the first phase. Subsequently, Foshan Rail Investment Group will continue to focus on the overall situation while attending to details, stay firmly anchored to its goals, and, centering on the major node of trial operation of the first phase, forge ahead with renewed vigor, scientifically organize and plan the construction of remaining works, and strive to build a high-quality Foshan Metro project.
