At the 2021 Tianjin Factory Open Day, Mr. Fu Zhong, Manager of Bauer China's Engineering Department, introduced the Bauer CSM (Cutter Soil Mixing) method, a new technology and process that applies Bauer's double-wheel cutter technology to cement-soil mixing. It was developed and first applied by the German company Bauer in 2003.

As a type of cement-soil mixing technology, Bauer CSM offers special advantages: strong cutting capacity, high construction efficiency, and a certain ability to embed into hard strata; a highly sensitive inclinometer improves the verticality of the wall; high cutter wheel rotation speed and precise computer-controlled cement grout injection; and a more environmentally friendly construction process with low disturbance and a construction-environment-friendly approach.
In terms of applications, CSM can be used for seepage prevention and water cutoff projects; for large-scale soil reinforcement and ground improvement; or for projects such as retaining walls for foundation pit excavation, giving it a very wide range of uses.

Mr. Liu Zhipeng explained and demonstrated the features, advantages and maintenance key points of Bauer drilling rigs.
The rational configuration and optimization of the hydraulic system of Bauer rotary drilling rigs improve drilling efficiency; the output torque of the rotary drive ensures continuity and stability, reducing drilling time and wear, lowering fuel consumption and extending service life; for different strata, the rotary drive of Bauer rigs is adjustable, improving construction efficiency.
In terms of rig use and maintenance, to avoid problems such as inclined piles and non-straight boreholes, accessories need to be inspected and worn parts replaced in a timely manner; to extend the service life of the drill pipe and avoid major accidents such as pipe breakage, the drill pipe requires prompt repair and maintenance.
