The EJM280/4-2 bolter miner integrates cutting, loading, traveling, dust removal, and rock bolt support into one machine, organically combining excavation and support to reduce the time spent repositioning excavation and support equipment, helping to improve excavation efficiency. It features integrated mining, excavation, and bolting, fast roadway formation, high excavation efficiency, good roadway shaping, low worker labor intensity, and high efficiency and flexibility.

The horizontally arranged telescopic cutting drum can meet the construction requirements of roadways of different widths, forming the roadway in one pass. The drum can be independently telescopically controlled on one side, making it more flexible for working conditions such as turning. In addition, the gear oil in the reducer circulates through an external cooler to prevent internal high temperatures, meeting the long-time working requirement of continuous operation while personnel rest.

One-key automatic cutting. The operator only needs to press the automatic cutting switch, and the equipment enters automatic cutting mode. The controller collects cylinder displacement information data and performs automatic cutting according to the preset trajectory path and speed, with the automatic cutting simulation screen displayed on the monitor.

Integrated construction. The forward and backward sliding of the cutting and material collecting mechanisms enables cutting and material collecting actions while the equipment is not traveling. At the same time, 6 rock bolters perform rock bolt support operations, thus achieving parallel construction of excavation and bolting.
