10月18日，贺巴高速来宾至都安段（简称“来都高速”）忻城5号隧道左洞贯通。8月27日，忻城5号隧道右洞贯通，时隔52天，隧道左洞也顺利贯通，标志来都高速№2标一分部主线首座隧道实现全幅贯通，进一步打通了项目主线关键运输通道，为全线隧道贯通打下了稳固的基础。
忻城5号隧道为双洞分离式越岭长隧道，隧道左线设计长度为1358米、右线设计长度为1355米，最大埋深约147.673米，总体走向约276度，呈直线展布。隧道进口位于忻城县古崖村西南侧山坡，为端墙式洞门；出口位于忻城县毛笑村东侧山坡，为削竹式洞门，采用两端同时掘进作业的施工方法。
