记者 11 日获悉，长乐营前港闸桥工程二期项目水闸及船闸主体已完成，预计下月完工投用。
营前港闸桥工程总投资 2.22 亿元，分两期实施。一期包括 4 号、5 号、6 号共 3 孔排洪闸和配套管理房建设，已于 2018 年 12 月完成并投入使用。二期总投资 1.2 亿元，包括 1 号、2 号、3 号共 3 孔排洪闸、船闸和桥梁建设，于 2019 年 2 月动工建设。
全部建成后，水闸净宽由 45 米扩大到 72 米，最大过闸流量由 850 立方米 / 秒提高到 1185 立方米 / 秒，船闸净宽由 8 米提高到 12 米，公路桥由 8 米双向两车道扩大到 46 米双向六车道，届时，营前港的防洪排涝、引水调水和水陆交通等能力大大提升，将有力促进长乐区经济社会发展。
