Recently, Xingtai City held a special scheduling meeting on photovoltaic projects. Zhang Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

Zhang Qiang pointed out that developing photovoltaic power generation projects is an important pathway to deepen the structural reform of the energy supply side, promote new energy as the main force in achieving "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutrality," and build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system. He emphasized that great attention must be paid to further enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency in advancing photovoltaic project work, adopt more proactive, precise, and effective measures, actively promote the construction of photovoltaic projects in Xingtai City, increase the share of renewable energy consumption, and optimize the energy structure.

Zhang Qiang stressed the need to strengthen overall coordination, vigorously advance the construction progress of centralized photovoltaic projects under construction, help project units promptly secure project construction conditions, effectively resolve difficulties and problems existing in project construction, relieve enterprises of their burdens, and facilitate projects in achieving production and efficiency as soon as possible. It is necessary to coordinate funding arrangements, work backward from deadlines, reasonably organize construction, accelerate construction progress, and ensure that projects are completed before the end of the year. It is also necessary to actively carry out the construction of photovoltaic power generation projects declared and approved this year, standardize agricultural-photovoltaic complementary photovoltaic power generation projects, firmly grasp time nodes, and, following the principle of supplementing whatever is lacking, make every effort to accelerate the construction of photovoltaic power generation projects.
