On September 24, the Simapu North Hub Interchange of the Jiehui Expressway passed completion acceptance and is scheduled to open to traffic before National Day.

The Simapu North Hub Interchange is located in Chaonan District, Shantou City. Once completed and opened to traffic, the Jiehui Expressway and the Shanzhan Expressway will be connected, making travel between Shantou and Jieyang more convenient for local residents. The drive from Chaonan, Shantou to Rongcheng, Jieyang and Huilai will be shortened by about 20 minutes.

On September 23, the Oushan Interchange project of the Shaogan Expressway successfully passed completion acceptance, marking the successful completion of the construction task. It is now ready for traffic and is expected to officially open before National Day.

The Oushan Interchange is located in Qujiang District, Shaoguan City, and connects with the urban road Shaozhou Avenue. To the north and south, it links to the Lechang-Guangzhou Expressway and the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, serving as a connecting and densifying route for the east-west road network in northern Guangdong.

After opening, travel from Qujiang District and Furong New Town in Shaoguan to the Pearl River Delta region and the revolutionary old areas of southern Jiangxi will be shortened by about 20 minutes.
