重点项目梅龙高铁捷报频传，9月27日，位于兴宁市径南镇章峰村，由中铁十二局集团承建的第二项目标段上背岭隧道顺利贯通。
全长268.85米的上背岭隧道地势较陡峭，植被覆盖率高，交通不便，以及地质不良等因素，给工程施工带来一定的困难。项目施工单位按照生态保护优先的要求，在隧道施工前期积极考察地形地貌，组织多次会议研制出一套专项施工方案。隧道的顺利贯通，为后续架梁及铺轨等项目工程创造了良好的条件。
