On May 28, as the Academicians' Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and the 10th National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology were being held in Beijing, the Jiangsu Provincial Machinery Industry Association convened a new product appraisal meeting at Xuzhou Jing'an Heavy Industry Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to appraise two new products developed by Jing'an Heavy Industry: the JRD300 air-lift reverse circulation drilling rig and the JAD150 low-headroom drilling rig.

The appraisal meeting was chaired by Director Chen Zhonghua of the Jiangsu Provincial Machinery Industry Association. The appraisal committee was composed of experts and users including Professor Xu Gening of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Professor Wang Anlin of Tongji University, Professor Guan Cheng of Zhejiang University, Professor Cai Lei of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Jiangsu Normal University, Professor Li Aimin of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of China University of Mining and Technology, Researcher Xu Gang of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and General Manager Wang Feng of Xuzhou Foundation Pile Engineering Co., Ltd.

JRD300 air-lift reverse circulation drilling rig
The slag discharge principle of the air-lift reverse circulation drilling rig is as follows: compressed air is fed through an air pipe into the discharge pipe, where the compressed air creates a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the discharge pipe, drawing the slurry from the working face into the discharge pipe and driving the slurry to rise and be discharged through the discharge pipe into the mud pit, with drill cuttings also discharged along with the slurry. Jing'an Heavy Industry has already deployed multiple air-lift reverse circulation drilling rigs in pile hole construction for offshore wind power, achieving outstanding improvements in construction efficiency and quality compared with traditional pile hole construction equipment. The air-lift reverse circulation drilling rig also offers significant advantages in the construction of inclined pile holes. Complementing full-rotation drilling rigs, the air-lift reverse circulation drilling rig greatly enhances construction capability in complex and hard stratum environments, and has very broad application prospects in foundation construction for high-rise buildings, railways, highways, bridges and other projects.

JAD150 low-headroom drilling rig
To solve the challenge of pile hole construction in confined working spaces, Jing'an Heavy Industry, after thoroughly investigating construction equipment for low-headroom environments at home and abroad, developed and produced a low-headroom full-rotation drilling rig based on the full-rotation drilling rig that can operate under a minimum headroom of 4.5 meters. The rig can complete foundation drilling operations without the assistance of a crawler crane. After changing modules, the rig can also use conventional casings and grab buckets for construction in general environments, offering good adaptability across various spatial environments.
These two new products from Jing'an Heavy Industry were recognized by the attending experts for their remarkable innovation and successfully passed the new product appraisal.
