Project Updates

Recently, the Phase I pile foundation project of the Chengdu Medical Investment Huaxi International Cancer Treatment Center (Heavy Ion and Proton) undertaken by the Chengdu Survey and Design Institute officially commenced.

The project is located in the core area of the International Medical Center of Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town. Focusing on the frontiers of oncology, the project aims to develop comprehensive cancer treatment services featuring proton and heavy ion radiotherapy, advance oncology-related clinical research and translational research, and promote the R&D, application, demonstration and popularization of a new generation of domestically developed heavy ion equipment, pursuing three major positioning goals. Our institute has undertaken the pile foundation construction work.

It is reported that the project has been listed as a key project of Chengdu City and Sichuan Province for 2020. It is intended to be built into a global cancer treatment center featuring heavy ion therapy and covering various cutting-edge international cancer treatment technologies. In the follow-up work, our institute will strictly follow construction specifications, process flows and quality system standards, carefully formulate rigorous and scientific construction schedules, and comprehensively manage project quality, safety and progress, contributing Chengdu Survey and Design Institute's strength to the advancement of Chengdu's medical development.
