On September 18, the Shanghai Industrial Strong Foundation project "Intelligent-Control-Based High-Performance Dual Large-Triangle Luffing and Large-Angle Mast System," undertaken by Shanghai Zoomlion Piling Machinery Co., Ltd., passed the on-site acceptance review organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. Shi Wenlu, Deputy Director of the Technology Progress Division of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization; Wu Chunping, Researcher of the Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Division of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization; Hu Zhihua, Section Chief of the Technology Progress Section of the Shanghai Songjiang District Economic Commission; and leaders from the Shanghai Economic and Informatization Development Research Center attended the meeting. Chen Gang, General Manager of Shanghai Zoomlion Piling Machinery Co., Ltd.; Li Weifu, Deputy General Manager; Zhang Liang, Deputy General Manager; Xiang Jingliang, Deputy General Manager; and other leaders accompanied and received the guests. More than 20 people, including the project leader and other technical personnel, also attended the meeting.

The review experts, led by Professor Yin Yaobao, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering at Tongji University, listened to Zoomlion's project summary report, reviewed the documentation, and conducted an on-site inspection of the project's related achievements. The acceptance expert panel unanimously agreed that the project completed all construction content specified in the project agreement, all assessment indicators met the requirements of the project agreement, the use of special funds was reasonable, and management was standardized. The expert panel unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance review.

The "Intelligent-Control-Based High-Performance Dual Large-Triangle Luffing and Large-Angle Mast System" project was developed by Shanghai Zoomlion Piling Machinery Co., Ltd. Through this project, innovative dual large-triangle luffing structure technology, new mast hydraulic control system technology, and intelligent mast lowering/raising control system technology were developed, achieving a key technological breakthrough in intelligent mast control for a new generation of rotary drilling rigs. The project addresses the shortcomings of existing second-generation rotary drilling rigs, such as inconvenient overall mobility and the need to rent large cranes to assist with operations, and solves the industry problems of inconvenient transportation of dual large-triangle luffing mechanisms and insufficient stability of parallelogram structures. It achieves a key technological breakthrough in intelligent mast control for a new generation of rotary drilling rigs, with comprehensive technology reaching the international advanced level.

During the implementation of this project, four patent applications were filed, sales exceeded 200 million yuan during the project period, and the project results passed appraisal by the China Machinery Industry Federation and won the third prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. The project belongs to the core equipment components of third-generation rotary drilling rigs. Through the development of the high-performance dual large-triangle luffing and large-angle mast system, it will effectively promote the overall intelligent layout of third-generation rotary drilling rig products. Compared with existing second-generation rotary drilling rigs, performance or effects have achieved transformative breakthroughs in construction stability, transportation convenience, construction cost control, reduction of construction steps, and intelligent construction. It will comprehensively surpass international benchmark products, drive the overall upgrading of China's large rotary drilling rig industry to a new level, break industry bottlenecks, and boost new industrial breakthroughs.
