On September 21, with the last bucket of concrete slowly lifted, discharged, vibrated, and finished, the main bridge cable tower of the Hegu Bridge Project was successfully poured after 112 days.

The cable tower of the Hegu Hanjiang main bridge is a single-column type, with a total height of 30.5 m, and was constructed in fourteen sections.

Among the many construction steps, the positioning of the strand-splitting pipe cable saddle was both a key point and a difficulty. Surveyors, on-site technicians, and the cable saddle manufacturer worked together to overcome the difficulties, shortening the cable adjustment time from the initial one day to two hours, and controlling the positioning error within the 5 mm range required by the design.

As a controlling project of the Hegu Hanjiang main bridge, the completion of the two cable towers on schedule marks a solid step toward the closure of the main bridge.
