Specialized — Breakthroughs in Key Fastening Technologies

The fastening system is one of the key technologies for the successful laying of high-speed railway track structures and an important foundation for ensuring railway operation safety. The company has been deeply engaged in the railway fastening field for more than 50 years. In response to the characteristics of various railways and dedicated lines, it has developed more than 10 types of domestically produced fastening products, overcoming many problems such as loosening during the operation of fastening systems. At the same time, it designed and customized the WT-1 fastening for the Venezuela railway.

In 2019, the company's "WJ-8 Fastening" product was awarded "Sichuan Good Product"; in 2020, the company's "Type VII Elastic Bar Fastening System" product was included in the "2020 Sichuan Famous and Excellent Product Catalog". In 2006, the company won the bid for the Hefei-Nanjing Railway, the first domestically localized high-speed railway; in 2009, it won the bid for the Harbin-Dalian High-Speed Railway, the first railway in a cold region in China. In 2010, the company's fastening system was put into trial operation on the Shanghai-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway, reaching a maximum speed of 416.6 km/h, setting a new world record for the highest speed in railway operation tests at that time.

Refined — First to Invest in and Build Automated Production Lines   

In early 2009, the company invested in and built China's first automated production line for high-speed railway track fastening elastic bars, taking the lead in achieving automated production of elastic bars, a key component of railway track fastening systems, and setting an example in the industry. In 2013, the overall technical level of the "Development of Automated Production Line for High-Speed Railway Fastening Elastic Bars" project was domestically leading, and it won the second prize of the Neijiang Science and Technology Progress Award and the third prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Railway Society. The "High-Speed Railway Fastening System Technology Innovation Project" won the third prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

At present, the company has built three "two-in-one" automated elastic bar production lines. Its refined manufacturing capability for products has been greatly improved, output has continuously set new records, and its market share has always been at the forefront of the industry.

Cultivating distinctive advantages and implementing lean management are key. In 2020, through the construction of SAP and ERP systems, the company improved its comprehensive control capabilities for internal production execution and office efficiency; through the construction of EBPM and OA systems, it continuously optimized the processes and systems of various business departments to meet the requirements of precise authority management; through the integrated application of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, it built a comprehensive production system featuring transparent production, digital processes, accurate costs, and a flat organization. Through the construction of a product lifecycle management system, it fully utilizes big data analysis, mining, and trend forecasting to support corporate business decisions, empowering and creating value for accelerating the construction of a "smart factory".

Innovative — Scaling the Heights of Product R&D

To build an innovative enterprise, it is necessary to break through barriers in new product research and development. In May 2019, the company launched the research and development project for rail grinding wheel products. One year later, the product was installed and tested on a vehicle for the first time. In November 2020, the company's new product development process for rail grinding wheels was granted a national invention patent. It successfully signed an order for L1 rail grinding wheels in the American market, the first overseas order for grinding wheel products, breaking the monopoly of foreign markets in one stroke.

Powder metallurgy brake pads are representative products of the company's friction materials. After five years of research, development, and improvement, the products successfully passed the assessment of the China Railway Test & Certification Center and obtained CRCC certification certificates, and are widely used by various railway bureau group companies.

The company is the only domestic manufacturer of a full series of embedded channel products, the only domestic manufacturer of large-batch supporting shield bolts, and the first domestic manufacturer of anchor rods to apply patented products to plateau railways. It has successfully created an emerging sector of special components such as embedded channels, segment bolts, and anchor rods.

As a national high-tech enterprise, the company has a provincial-level enterprise technology center. It has been listed among the "Top 100 Enterprises in Sichuan Province for Innovation and Development Capability" and "Top 50 in Sichuan Machinery Industry" for three consecutive years.
