Recently, Li Zongyan, Director of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, and Han Liangjie, Deputy Director, led a delegation of some members of the Standing Committee on a special inspection of transportation project construction in Yongcheng City. Officials from the Municipal Transport Bureau accompanied the inspection.

Li Zongyan and the delegation conducted on-site inspections of rural road ancillary works, including the road from Liuzhuang to Liangyoufang Village in Yanji Subdistrict, the road from Liuzhuang to Jiecun in Chenji Township, the road from Jiecun to Liuzhai in Chenji Township, and the Gewa Bridge in Jiangkou Township. They carefully listened to introductions by relevant officials from the Municipal Transport Bureau and gained a detailed understanding of the renovation of dangerous bridges on rural roads, the widening of narrow roadbeds, and the construction of safety life protection projects in Yongcheng City. After listening to the introductions and conducting on-site inspections, Li Zongyan and the delegation fully affirmed the rural road construction projects in Yongcheng City and required that in the next stage of work, overall planning should continue to be carried out well, adhering to planning guidance and prioritizing planning, with a focus on resolving road construction difficulties reported by the public; the progress and quality of projects under construction must be strictly controlled to ensure timely and smooth completion; routine maintenance and management of rural roads must be strengthened to ensure road traffic quality, continuously improve road capacity and safety protection levels, and strive to create a new situation for road transportation work in Yongcheng.

Subsequently, Li Zongyan and the delegation also conducted on-site inspections of the Zhangbanqiao Shiplock and Jiangkou Bridge projects of the Tuo-Hui River Navigation Project, gaining a detailed understanding of project progress and problems encountered. Li Zongyan pointed out that the Tuo-Hui River Navigation Project plays an important role in promoting the outward transport of coal by water from Yongcheng City and boosting the development of enterprises and the transportation industry. Great importance must be attached to the construction of the Tuo-Hui River Navigation Project, with all-out efforts and strong promotion to ensure early completion, early operation, and early results.
