On August 25, the right tube of the shield-tunneled section between Zhujiatun Station and Daishan Park Station in Work Area 3 of Section 01 of Changchun Urban Rail Transit Line 6, constructed by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group, was successfully holed through. This marks the completion of all shield tunneling tasks for the two shield-tunneled sections in the work area, making it the first work area in the third round of Changchun rail transit construction to complete all of its shield-tunneled sections.

　　The shield machines used in this work area are named "Zhenxing No. 1" and "Zhenxing No. 2". Both have a diameter of 6.44 meters and a length of 85 meters, and are equipped with intelligent systems such as an automatic shield tail clearance measurement system and an automatic muck metering system. The two shield machines made their first launch on June 1, 2020, and completed all shield construction tasks in the work area through two launches and two arrivals. At this point, the shield-tunneled sections and station main structures in Work Area 3 of Section 01 of Changchun Rail Transit Line 6 have all been completed, and the project has fully entered the ancillary works construction stage.

　　Changchun Urban Rail Transit Line 6 is an east-west infill line connecting the southern part of the city, functioning as a connecting line for the southern part of the central urban area. The line links the Western New City, Southern New City and Jingyue Cluster. It starts at Xiaokaiyuanbao in Changchun's Western New City, with Shuangfeng Station of Line 6 set up on the east side of Shuangfeng Station of Line 2. It passes through Changchun West Railway Station and runs along Feiyue Road, Fangcao Street, Huayuan Road, Fuzhi Avenue, Shengtai Street, Tianpu Road and Yongshun Road, ending at Changying Century City, with an overall west-to-east alignment.

　　It is understood that of the 22 stations on Line 6, all except Changchun West Railway Station, which was completed in advance as an agent-construction project, have started construction, and 8 have so far achieved main structure capping; among the shield-tunneled sections, 3 have achieved dual-tube holing-through and 4 have achieved single-tube holing-through.
