On August 5, Fu Xuming, Secretary of the Changsha County Party Committee, Secretary of the Exhibition Party Working Committee of the Changsha Area of the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and Secretary of the Airport Party Working Committee of the Changsha Area of the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, led a delegation to visit Sunward Intelligent, inspecting the construction progress of Phase III of the Sunward Industrial City, one of Hunan Province's top ten industrial projects, and the progress of the digital prototype and twin technology project for construction machinery, one of Hunan Province's top ten technological breakthrough projects.

Chen Yonggao, Deputy Secretary of the Changsha County Party Committee; Lai Kunming, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone; Changsha County leaders Guo Rui, Zhu Zhiyong, and Feng Yexin; He Qinghua, Chairman and Chief Expert of Sunward Intelligent; Xia Zhihong, Executive General Manager; Huang Zhixiong, Deputy General Manager; and Wu Wenwei, Secretary of the Party Committee, participated in the visit.

Following the route taken by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Sunward Intelligent, Fu Xuming and his delegation arrived at the excavator assembly workshop to inspect Sunward's production operations. The excavator assembly workshop features intelligent final assembly lines for micro, small, medium, and large excavators, with one modern hydraulic excavator rolling off the line every 25 minutes on average. CCTV's Science and Education Channel program "Innovation in Progress" previously aired a special report titled "Different Excavators," covering Sunward Intelligent's various innovative excavators. Fu Xuming expressed recognition and appreciation for Sunward Intelligent's advanced innovation concepts, deep innovative heritage, and industry-leading intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

Subsequently, Fu Xuming and his delegation arrived at the construction site of the Phase III project of Sunward Industrial City to learn about the project's progress on the ground. As one of Hunan Province's top ten industrial projects, Phase III of Sunward Industrial City officially broke ground on January 6. The project involves a total investment of 1.51 billion yuan and a planned land area of 426 mu. The project focuses on high-end anode materials, excavators, emergency rescue equipment, and other fields—three areas that are also Sunward Intelligent's strong future growth drivers and a key part of its strategic layout. The overall construction will last two years, adopting a phased construction and phased production strategy, and is expected to reach full production capacity by 2022.

Sunward Intelligent's digital prototype and twin technology breakthrough project for construction machinery adopts digital twin technology to tackle key technical challenges in rotary drilling rigs, promoting the overall transformation of engineering equipment R&D from reverse engineering to primarily forward R&D. The project aims to explore new paths and mechanisms for construction machinery product development, form replicable and scalable experience, and drive the high-quality and rapid development of Hunan Province's construction machinery industry.

While listening to the project introduction, Fu Xuming repeatedly asked about the project's research directions and progress, and encouraged Sunward Intelligent's researchers to demonstrate Sunward's responsibility and contribute Sunward's strength in taking the lead in building the "Three Highlands" and constructing a modern demonstration zone!
