On July 31, after 8 hours of continuous work, the left span (Xingyi side) of the main tower of Jinzhou Bridge successfully completed the concrete pour for the 23–27.5 m section. The successful first pour of the main tower on the Xingyi side marks a new stage in the construction of the main pier of Jinzhou Bridge.

The tower column poured this time is the left span of Tower Column No. 22 on the Xingyi side, from 23 m to 27.5 m, with a pour volume of 150 cubic meters using C50 concrete. The left tower column has 22 pours remaining to complete the overall tower column construction. The main tower column No. 22 is 147.024 meters high and uses a hollow rectangular cross-section; the cable tower is a double-column vertical portal-frame concrete structure.

Jinzhou Bridge

Jinzhou Bridge is a G324 National Highway Maling River Bridge upgrading and reconstruction project, with Yilong Group as the owner, jointly built by Xingyi City and Yilong New Area. The bridge starts at the intersection of Xiagu Avenue and Wanfeng Avenue on the Xingyi side and ends 117 m behind the abutment on the Dingxiao side of Yilong New Area, connecting with Dongfenglin Avenue of Yilong New Area. The route length is 2,912 m. The main bridge is a single-span 450 m steel truss stiffening girder earth-anchored suspension bridge, with a bridge width of 36.3 m. The upper deck is arranged with two-way six lanes, and the middle of the lower deck reserves a traffic corridor for other functions in the long term. The main line bridge is 1,600 m long. The main construction contents include subgrade works, pavement works, bridge works and other main works, as well as ancillary works such as greening and security. The estimated total investment is 1.53 billion yuan.
