8月2日，梧州至信都高速公路二期工程梧州段正在进行水稳层施工。该公路是自治区层面统筹推进建设的重大项目，主线全长75公里，概算投资总金额超105亿元，计划2022年建成通车。
据了解，截至7月底，信都至梧州高速公路二期工程累计完成路基填方93%、挖方98%；路面底基层44%，路面基层16%；桥梁工程44.5%；涵洞工程96%；隧道工程88%；绿化及环保工程82%；管理养护及服务房屋77%。
梧州至信都高速公路是连接贺州、梧州最便捷的公路通道，建成后，从梧州到信都只需40分钟，将大幅度加快“贺梧一体化”发展，对加快梧州、贺州、粤桂县域经济产业合作示范区交通基础设施建设和城市建设，大力推进梧州、贺州区域性综合交通枢纽建设，物流基地建设以及西江黄金水道建设具有重要意义。
