At 18:00 on August 2, the main pier No. 25 of the Vanadium-Titanium High-Tech Zone Bridge on the Ningnan-Panzhihua section of the G4216 line (Yanjiang Expressway) was successfully capped, marking that the Vanadium-Titanium High-Tech Zone Bridge has entered the superstructure construction stage.

The Vanadium-Titanium High-Tech Zone Bridge is one of the controlling projects of the Yanjiang Expressway, with a total length of 3.535 kilometers. Its main bridge is a prestressed concrete low-pylon cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 501 meters. The capped main pier No. 25 is 115 meters high.

The Ningnan-Panzhihua section of the G4216 line (Yanjiang Expressway) starts from Heini Gully on the side of Ningnan County in Liangshan Prefecture, connecting with the Jinyang-Ningnan section of the G4216 line, passes through Xinhua Township and Shili Township in Ningnan County, Huidong County seat, Jiangzhou Town, Xiaoba Township, Huili County seat, Luchang Town, Baiji Township, and Hongge Town in Yanbian County, Panzhihua, and ends at the Vanadium-Titanium High-Tech Zone in Panzhihua City, connecting with the Panzhihua-Lijiang Expressway of the G4216 line. The designed total length is 166.167 kilometers. The main line of the Yanjiang Expressway within Panzhihua City is about 33 kilometers long, with two controlling projects: the Huoshan Extra-Long Tunnel and the Vanadium-Titanium High-Tech Zone Bridge.
