At the pavement construction site on the section of the Beijing-Macau Route (G105) from the Jinbao South Line to the border between Langfang and Cangzhou, large machinery and workers continued working overtime in the evening to carry out asphalt paving and other tasks. This medium repair work is intended to improve road appearance and eliminate driving safety hazards. Construction workers mill during the day and pave asphalt at night, operating more than 15 hours per day on average. The project is expected to be completed smoothly by the end of July.

Gao Jifeng, project manager of the construction unit, said: "Since work began on June 12, more than 30 pieces of large machinery and over 40 workers have been deployed. To ensure construction quality, we have worked overtime day and night, laying the foundation for opening to traffic as soon as possible."

This medium repair is being carried out under a full road closure. The scope of work is the functional restoration and maintenance project for the section of the Beijing-Macau Route (G105) in Langfang from the Jinbao South Line to the border between Langfang and Cangzhou, with a total length of 24.996 kilometers. The previous pavement reconstruction was in 2013. With the rapid development of Dacheng County's economy and infrastructure, the number of large material transport vehicles has increased, causing pavement distresses such as ruts and cracks. Severely damaged areas of the original pavement are being milled and patched, after which the full width will receive an asphalt concrete overlay.
