On July 12, the right rib of the main arch of the Dafaqu Grand Bridge on the Renzun Expressway, invested and constructed by Guizhou Provincial Highway Development Co., Ltd., was successfully closed.

The Dafaqu Grand Bridge has a total length of 1,427 meters, a main span of 410 meters, and a bridge width of 33 meters. It is a prestressed concrete simply-supported-then-continuous T-beam and deck-type concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge, and is one of the controlling projects of the Renzun Expressway. The main arch of the bridge has 56 segments, with a maximum lifting weight of 240 tons per segment, and the weight of the entire bridge exceeds that of the Daxiaojing Bridge, currently the "world's largest-span concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge." Since the first lifting construction of the main arch on March 24, 50 segments have been lifted to date, and the double-rib closure of the main arch is expected in late July.

The Dafaqu Grand Bridge is located in Bankan Group, Tuanjie Village, the hometown of Huang Dafa, recipient of the "July 1 Medal," Model of the Times, one of the Top Ten People Who Moved China, and a National Moral Model, and intersects with the "Dafa Canal." In 2019, the Dafa Canal was rated as a AAA scenic area; in 2020, it was included in the National Water Situation Education Base. The completed Dafa Canal Party Spirit Education Base attracts a large number of visitors each year. At present, it takes 2 hours to travel from the Zunyi urban area to Tuanjie Village. The mountain roads are rugged and transportation is inconvenient: the village's agricultural products cannot be shipped out, and outside goods cannot come in. Although the village has beautiful scenery, it cannot retain people.

After the Renzun Expressway is completed and the Dafaqu Grand Bridge is erected, it will take only 20 minutes to travel from Tuanjie Village to Zunyi, greatly improving travel efficiency, promoting the development of the tourism industry in Tuanjie Village and the export of local agricultural specialties, and providing important transportation support for rural revitalization. Local agricultural products can be transported out quickly and conveniently, outside tourists can stay with peace of mind, and the villagers' wallets will bulge, their motivation will grow stronger, and their sense of happiness will rise higher and higher! At the same time, it will also greatly increase the number of people visiting the Dafa Canal Party Spirit Education Base to see the Dafa Canal Party Member Political Life Hall, the Dafa Canal Party Spirit Education Exhibition Hall, and the Dafa Heavenly Canal.
