On the morning of June 30, the opening ceremony for the Tanghe Grand Bridge on Provincial Highway 316 was held in Chenghe Town, and the Tanghe Grand Bridge is now fully ready for traffic.

The Tanghe Grand Bridge on Provincial Highway 316, together with the Baihe Grand Bridge, is a controlling project of the Xiangzhou section of the reconstruction project from Xinshi, Zaoyang, to Huangji, Xiangzhou, on Provincial Highway 316. The Tanghe Grand Bridge connects Shangwan Village in Zhuji Town with Chenghe Village in Chenghe Town. The total length of the bridge is 1,767.04 meters, the deck width is 12 meters, and it has two lanes in both directions.

According to Dai Peng, the construction manager of the Tanghe Grand Bridge project, the current bridge connecting Chenghe Town and Zhuji Town can only accommodate pedestrians and small vehicles, and agricultural products cannot be transported. After the Tanghe Grand Bridge is completed and opened to traffic, it can meet the transportation needs for agricultural products from Guyi, Chenghe, and Zhuji in Xiangzhou.

At present, traveling from Xinshi, Zaoyang, to Huangji Town, Xiangzhou, requires a detour through Shuanggou via National Highway 316 and National Highway 207, taking about 2 hours. When the Tanghe Grand Bridge and Baihe Grand Bridge on Provincial Highway 316 are completed and connected, the travel time from Xinshi, Zaoyang, to Huangji Town, Xiangzhou, will be halved. It is reported that the Baihe Grand Bridge is expected to be completed before this year's National Day.
