Recently, the Nansha Engineering Command of Qiancheng Pile Engineering received a bid-winning notice issued by China Railway No.8 Engineering Group: the company has successfully won the bid for the soft foundation project of Nanshan Road (Yixing Road-Huigang Avenue) of the Jiangmen Jianghai EPC+O Project.

The Nanshan Road (Yixing Road-Huigang Avenue) project in Jiangmen City is invested and constructed by Jiangmen High-tech Industrial Park Investment and Development Co., Ltd., with China Railway No.8 Engineering Group as the general contractor. The Nanshan Road alignment runs generally north-south, starting at Yixing Road and ending at Huigang Avenue, with a total road length of 1.145 km and a road width of 80 meters. It is implemented according to the design standards of an urban arterial road with dual-direction six lanes on the main road (speed 60 km/h) and an urban secondary trunk road with dual-direction four lanes on the auxiliary road (speed 40 km/h), with a total investment of 460 million yuan. According to the bid-winning notice, the scope of our company's soft foundation works mainly includes cement-soil bidirectional mixing piles, high-pressure jet grouting piles, etc., with an estimated construction period of 180 days.

As a provider of intelligent overall quality and safety control solutions in the geotechnical and underground space engineering fields, with many years of focus on geotechnical engineering, the company's three main business segments consist of soft foundation treatment works, including the cement-soil bidirectional mixing piles and high-pressure jet grouting piles to be constructed in this project; underground space geotechnical engineering; and pile foundation engineering mainly used for structures. In particular, since 2019, the company's joint R&D with the Fourth Survey and Design Institute of China Railway on the "special curing agent for marine mucky soil and mucky soil foundation treatment method" has achieved successful testing and market application, providing a good solution to the pile-forming difficulties of soft soil strata in coastal areas, filling an industry gap, and achieving major progress in geotechnical technology. This opened a new chapter in the company's intelligent research work, providing more efficient, safe, and intelligent solutions for geotechnical engineering construction, and also fully preparing the company to further expand the South China market by using scientific and technological innovation achievements as a breakthrough, laying a solid foundation for this cooperation with China Railway No.8 Engineering Group on the awarded project.

During the preliminary investigation, the project department of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group and the company's Nansha Engineering Command conducted in-depth technical exchanges and observed on site the pile formation of the special curing agent for marine mucky soil in the trial piles of the Qingsheng Hub project. The leaders of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group highly recognized the application of this technology and explicitly expressed the hope to expand cooperation areas on the basis of construction cooperation, jointly carry out innovative R&D work, and work together to promote industry development and progress through the upgrading of geotechnical technology.
