6月15日11时18分，伴随着盾构机的轰鸣声，“铁龙33号”盾构刀盘破土而出，深圳地铁16号线同坪区间（同乐村站~坪山站）右线盾构机顺利接收。
同坪区间全长约1486m，设三座联络通道，最大坡度达到29.7％。
区间需穿越多种不同的地层，其中左右线在高强度硬岩中掘进累计达1500余米，微风化花岗岩强度最高达140Mpa，石英含量极高，刀具磨损大，换刀频繁，区间累计开仓105次，更换刀具610把。
