6月15日，金甬铁路戚家村隧道正式贯通，这也是金甬铁路绍兴段内首座贯通隧道。该隧道位于嵊州市甘霖镇，全长560.75米，隧道最大埋深约24米。
据了解，金甬铁路将在嵊州境内设2座车站，分别为嵊州新昌站、南山湖站。这条铁路的建成将实现世界小商品之都（义乌）与世界第一大港（宁波舟山港）的互连互通，对嵊州融入“一带一路”及义甬舟大通道具有深远意义。
