6月15日下午，金甬铁路戚家村隧道全线贯通，这是金甬铁路在绍兴境内贯通的首座隧道，也是金甬铁路全线45座隧道中贯通的第五座隧道。
戚家村隧道位于我市甘霖镇，全长560.75m，隧道最大埋深约24m。由于隧道地处丘陵，地势起伏，因此，在施工过程中，难度不小。
针对该隧道所处的复杂地理环境，中铁二局项目部提前谋划，并积极与地方政府部门、业主、设计、监理等各单位沟通交流，制定了切实可行的施工方案，通过短进尺、弱爆破、强支护等方式，确保了工程的安全施工。
据了解，金甬铁路全线长188.3公里，预计在2023年9月30日建成通车，全线设有11个车站，其中在我市境内设2座车站，分别为嵊州新昌站、南山湖站。
这条铁路的建成将实现世界小商品之都（义乌）与世界第一大港（宁波舟山港）的互连互通，对我市融入“一带一路”及义甬舟大通道具有深远意义。
