As a livelihood project, the Taishan Cultural Tourism and Fitness Center project has attracted much attention from Tai'an citizens since the beginning of its construction. Recently, it was learned at the project construction site that the overall form has taken shape, and the magnificent style of "Gazing at Mount Tai from the Clouds" is about to be revealed. Under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, the construction contractor is carrying out masonry plastering, exterior decorative curtain wall construction, steel structure and metal roof hoisting, and other work. At present, the project's main frame, secondary structure, and main steel structure have been basically completed, and it is expected to be completed in 2022.

"We are steadily advancing the project construction progress according to plan. At present, the masonry plastering of the gymnasium is 90% complete, the masonry plastering of the swimming hall is 20% complete, the main steel structures of the gymnasium and swimming hall have been completed, the main frame structure of the national fitness hall is 95% complete, the roof steel structure is 30% complete, the main frame structure of the supporting buildings is 85% complete, the concrete main frame of the outer ring platform of the stadium is 90% complete, the main steel structure of the stadium has been basically completed, the installation of radial steel cables has been completed, the overall lifting of the annular cables is 30% complete, and the plastering of the supporting buildings (hotel) is 70% complete. It is expected to be fully completed next year," introduced Kong Hu, the construction unit's representative stationed at the site.

The Taishan Cultural Tourism and Fitness Center construction project has a total land area of about 1,010 mu and a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. It includes "one stadium and three halls (stadium, comprehensive gymnasium, swimming and diving hall, and national fitness hall)," supporting buildings, underground garages, and more. It will create a large-scale sports complex integrating sports competitions, professional exhibitions, artistic performances, sports training, commerce, culture, education, fitness, and leisure. The architectural scale of the venues ranks first among prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province. After the project is completed, it will become an attractive public activity and service center in Tai'an, further meet the demand of Tai'an citizens for sports and fitness venues, and improve the conditions for mass sports activities.
