Entrance/Exit No. 3 at Chaoyangcun Station on Changsha Rail Transit Line 6, jacked by Guangzhou Jintu, was successfully holed through on March 8, 2021. Entrance/Exit No. 2 was successfully holed through on May 17, 2021. Entrance/Exit No. 3, Entrance/Exit No. 2 and the transfer passage between Lines 3 and 6 were constructed by pipe jacking, with a cross-section 6.9 m wide and 4.2 m high and a total length of 87 m.

The jacked passage passes over a power tunnel and under Renmin Middle Road/Renmin Tunnel. Located near Chaoyang Primary School and surrounded by dense buildings, the project is difficult to construct and highly demanding in technical terms.
