In March 2021, SANY's first rotary drilling rig capable of traveling with its mast assembled, unit SR165C10-10, arrived at the Dongjiang Yipin construction site in Ziyang, Sichuan.

Project Introduction:

The Dongjiang Yipin project has a floor area of 140,000 square meters and is located on the east side of Shuxiang Avenue and the north side of Wei'er Road in Yanjiang District, Ziyang City. The site geology consists mainly of soil layers. The construction hole diameter is 800 mm, the hole depth is 12 m, and there are about 1,000 holes. The SR165C10 has currently been working on site for nearly 400 hours, with a hole completion time of between 40 and 50 minutes.

Machine Features:

The SR165C10 is SANY's first rotary drilling rig capable of traveling with its mast assembled. It adopts a Mitsubishi engine, Kawasaki positive-control main pump, and Kawasaki RB main valve. The rotary drive torque is as high as 174 kN, and the maximum drilling diameter is 1.5 m, covering the hole diameter range typically constructed by general contractors. It saves time, improves efficiency, and reduces transportation costs, creating more value for customers.

A Short Story:

Here is a short story about an SR165C10 working in Lanzhou. When the main construction site in Lanzhou was shut down for one day, because the SR165C10 is easy to relocate, the customer rented the machine to another site for construction. At about 10 holes per day and 500 yuan per hole, the SR165C10 brought the customer an additional 5,000 yuan in income during that one-day shutdown.
