Recently, the east main tower of the main bridge of Duohua Bridge in Longli County, Qiannan Prefecture, was topped out, marking the completion of both main towers of the bridge's main span. Once the subsequent road works are completed, the drive between Guiyang and Longli Prairie will be shortened to under 30 minutes.

It is reported that Duohua Bridge is a control project connecting the Qianzhong Longxi Inland Open Economy Development Pilot Zone and the prairie area of Longli County. With a total length of 1,260 meters, its main bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with twin towers, double cable planes and a steel-concrete composite girder. The main towers adopt thin-walled hollow diamond-shaped cable towers, with the east tower standing 245 meters high and the west tower 265 meters high; the west tower was topped out on January 26.

The main span and tower columns are equipped with facilities such as sightseeing glass walkways, sightseeing elevators and an aerial viewing platform. Integrating transportation, tourism and leisure, Duohua Bridge will become the world's No.1 cable-stayed bridge over a high mountain canyon upon completion.
