Recently, the Zhengzhou Municipal Government issued the "2021 List of Key Construction Projects in Zhengzhou," which includes 453 projects with a total investment of 814.3 billion yuan and a planned investment of 206.3 billion yuan for 2021. Among them, there are 22 new infrastructure projects; 228 industrial structure optimization and upgrading projects; 18 innovation-driven capacity enhancement projects; 28 major infrastructure projects; 42 new urbanization projects; 18 ecological and environmental protection projects; and 97 livelihood and social undertaking projects. These key projects are crucial to the overall economic and social development of the city. We will adhere to accelerating the construction of key projects as an important carrier for practicing the new development philosophy, promoting high-quality development, optimizing the business environment, and building a new dual-circulation development pattern. They are also key measures to expand effective investment, stabilize economic growth, shore up weaknesses in development, and stimulate growth momentum. They serve as important levers for accelerating the construction of a national central city, promoting the implementation of the Yellow River Strategy, creating a higher-level high-quality development regional growth pole, and leading and supporting the greater brilliance of the Central Plains. All parties should fulfill their duties and responsibilities, and make every effort to promote strong investment, rapid construction, and early effectiveness of key projects.
