According to the Zunyi Municipal Development and Reform Commission, from January to March this year, the overall investment progress of major engineering and key projects in Zunyi reached 40.78 billion yuan, completing 24.1% of the annual target; 205 engineering projects started construction, and 7 projects were completed.

It is reported that, apart from the 2021 annual plan, Zunyi has a total of 1,114 municipal-level major engineering and key projects this year, with an annual planned investment of 169.5 billion yuan, 351 projects planned to start construction, and 146 projects planned to be completed. Among them, there are 855 projects for new industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural modernization, and tourism industrialization, with an annual planned investment of 139.14 billion US dollars, 279 planned to start construction, and 116 planned to be completed. In 2021, 702 projects were included in the provincial major engineering and key projects, with an annual planned investment of 113.6 billion yuan, 197 planned to start construction, and 88 planned to be completed.

In the first quarter of this year, in terms of completing tasks in key focus areas, major infrastructure projects completed 7.64 billion yuan, a completion rate of 24.6%; major industrial projects completed 27.42 billion yuan, a completion rate of 24.7%; major livelihood engineering projects completed 5.73 billion yuan, a completion rate of 20.8%; among the annual implementation projects, the "Four Modernizations" projects completed an investment of 32.5 billion yuan, a completion rate of 23.4%.
