5月2日，从中国铁建股份有限公司获悉，连接川陕革命老区的汉巴南高铁迎来施工关键节点——全线首片800吨级箱梁在四川省仪陇县正式投产，标志着汉巴南高铁已由线下基础工程，进入线上结构施工阶段。
据中铁十八局集团汉巴南高铁总工程师王新泽介绍，汉巴南高铁连接了川陕革命老区的汉中、巴中和南充，正线全长290公里，设计行车时速250公里，桥梁和隧道的长度约占线路总长的70%。
汉巴南高铁全线预计在2024年建成通车，将对完善我国西南地区高铁路网布局、促进川陕革命老区经济社会发展发挥重要作用。
