5月4日上午，位于五华县岐岭镇清溪村的油岭坝3号隧道内，机械巨臂在幽暗中凿开光明，在场的施工人员欢呼雀跃。油岭坝3号隧道开始于2020年12月21日进洞，目前历时4个半月，于5月四日顺利贯通。
据了解，油岭坝3号隧道全长202米，由中铁二十五局承建，成为该标段第二条贯通的隧道。时隔两小时后，位于华城镇铁炉村的尔角山1号隧道开始进行隧道进洞施工。该隧道全长1275米，采取两头掘进的工法，隧道出口已于两个月前顺利进洞。
据介绍，“五一”期间，中铁二十五局承建的梅龙铁路四标项目1500人持续奋战施工一线，以劳动竞赛欢度劳动节，助力梅州苏区早日通上真正意义的高铁。
