4月30日上午9时18分，滁宁城际铁路二期工程技术学院站——龙蟠大道站左线盾构区间顺利贯通。滁宁城际铁路二期工程技术学院站——龙蟠大道站左线盾构区间全长621米，由“奋进一号”ZTE8800土压平衡式盾构机承担掘进任务，开挖直径8.84米，自2021年1月8日始发掘进以来，滁宁城际铁路二期工程与高校科研人员合作，采用BIM、revit模型、3D体验、4D模拟等技术，攻克了大盾构小半径曲线始发技术难题，致力打造“绿色滁宁、安全滁宁、智慧滁宁”。
技术学院站——龙蟠大道站左线盾构区间是滁宁城际铁路首个贯通的盾构区间，也是滁州市有史以来第一个贯通的盾构区间。该区间的顺利贯通，为后续的盾构施工打下了坚实基础，为滁宁城际铁路的建设按下了快进键。
