由中国中铁上海工程局承建的贵阳轨道交通3号线桃花寨站～花溪南站区间，于4月27日顺利下穿西南环线杨柳塘铁路隧道。
盾构下穿前，项目部积极与贵阳市域铁路公司沟通协调，完成了下穿前所需的各项审批手续，组织编制了安全专项施工方案；下穿期间，项目部积极优化掘进参数、合理配置施工资源、强化工序无缝衔接，并应用应力在线监测系统，对隧道安全实施全过程监控，顺利完成了西南环线杨柳塘铁路隧道下穿工作，实现了铁路隧道“零沉降、零变形”。
据悉，贵阳轨道交通3号线一期工程桃～花盾构区间位于贵阳市花溪区，该区间与铁路隧道垂直相交，垂直净距9.9米，穿越段主要地层为中风化白云岩、泥质白云岩，施工难度大，铁路隧道沉降控制要求高，本次盾构的顺利下穿为后续桃花区间贯通奠定了坚实的基础。
