On April 20, 2021, the unit project of the Erqiao Park Parking Lot Depot Access Line Section under Civil Construction Contract D1N-TA04 of the Nanjing Metro Line 1 North Extension Project successfully passed acceptance. The depot access line section is the first unit project on the entire Line 1 North Extension to pass acceptance, providing valuable experience for the acceptance of Erqiao Park Station, the Ba'er section, and other contract sections.

After departing from Erqiao Park Station, the inbound and outbound lines of the depot access line section deflect to the right with curve radii of 230.30 m and 236 m respectively, passing successively beneath the planned Huashan Road and Dongshilichang Creek. After reaching RCK0+460, they enter the 100 m control zone of the Ring Expressway and extend parallel to the expressway toward the parking lot, passing successively through three earth mounds and gradually climbing to the surface to connect to the Erqiao Park Parking Lot. The section is an underground single-story rectangular frame structure with a standard section width of 12.00 m. The total length of the inbound line is 677.541 m, and the total length of the outbound line is 690.656 m. The terrain in the section fluctuates considerably, with the base slab embedded at a depth of 0.56 to 15.65 m. A wastewater pump house is set up at RCK0+187.000 in the section, and six sets of jet fans are installed at RCK0+320.000, RCK0+420.000, and RCK0+520.000 respectively.

The unit project acceptance personnel were divided into an engineering entity group and a documentation group, and they carefully inspected the engineering entity and completion documents respectively. Based on the inspection results, the acceptance team members unanimously rated the quality grade of this unit project as qualified, and the Erqiao Park Parking Lot Depot Access Line unit project passed acceptance.

The depot access line section unit project comprises 3 divisional works, 3 sub-divisional works, and 18 sub-item works. All dominant items of the included inspection lots, sub-item works, and divisional works are qualified, general items meet the requirements, and the as-built documentation is complete. All employees of the project department will take this as motivation to continue working together, plan ahead, organize meticulously, seek speed with stability, and complete the remaining construction tasks of this contract section with high quality and efficiency.
