Data from the notification issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's National Construction Worker Management Information Service Platform shows that, as of now, the real-name registration update rate for construction workers in Shandong Province has reached 90.28%, ranking second nationwide and meeting the full-score standard set by the State Council for the real-name registration update rate indicator in its assessment of migrant worker wage payment work. This marks a new step forward in Shandong Province's real-name management work.

Since the beginning of this year, the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has continuously strengthened construction worker management, effectively safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of construction workers and construction enterprises, ensured project quality and work safety, and continued to thoroughly advance the full coverage of supervision through the province's migrant worker wage payment platform. First, it issued documents to deploy the work and set clear requirements. On January 15, it issued a notice on further improving real-name management, explicitly requiring that the data update rate in each city reach above 90%. Second, it convened meetings to explain policies. The meetings emphasized the importance of implementing real-name management for construction workers, analyzed problems arising in the implementation of real-name management by competent departments at all levels from the two aspects of platform use and policy interpretation, and reported on the real-name supervision situation in each city. Third, it issued notifications to urge implementation. On March 24, it issued the "Notification on the Implementation of the Real-Name Management System for Housing Construction and Municipal Engineering Projects Across the Province" and copied it to all municipal people's governments. Fourth, it strengthened supervision to ensure practical results. It incorporated project real-name management into the special supervision and research content of key work of the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and conducted two rounds of on-site supervision of real-name implementation at a total of 128 projects.

According to a relevant official of the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, next, Shandong Province will make greater efforts to promote the cultivation of a professional and skilled construction industry workforce and promote the sustained and healthy development of the construction industry.
