It is reported that Wenzhou will start construction of multiple expressway interchanges this year, including the Wuniu Interchange and connecting line on the north line of the Ring Expressway to optimize the layout of expressway interchanges on the north bank of the Oujiang River, the Wenzhou North Station Interchange on the Zhuyong Expressway extension line directly serving Wenzhou North High-speed Railway Station, and the Liushi Interchange on the Yueqing section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway to add a new rapid external channel for the Liubai group in Yueqing.

Wenzhou North Station Interchange on Zhuyong Expressway Extension Line: Serving the Construction of Wenzhou North High-speed Railway Station Transportation Hub

The project of adding Wenzhou North Station Interchange on the Zhuyong Expressway extension line is expected to start within the year. The project includes one interchange, and the connecting line adopts the first-class highway standard, with a design speed of 60 km/h, a subgrade width of 23.5 meters, and four lanes in both directions.

The project starts at the intersection of Zhannan Avenue and Huanjiang Road, connects with the elevated main line of Zhannan Avenue, crosses the Nanxi River, spans over the Zhuyong Expressway extension line and sets up a T-shaped full interchange, and at the same time sets up ramps to connect with Sanli Highway, linking Luodong, Shangtang and other areas. The main line ends at the Zhuyong Expressway extension line, with a total length of 0.490 km. The total estimated investment of the project is about 870 million yuan.

A responsible person from the Yongjia County Transportation Bureau said that the construction of the Wenzhou North Station Interchange on the Zhuyong Expressway extension line directly serves Wenzhou North High-speed Railway Station and connects railway stations, which can greatly improve regional collection and distribution conditions. It is necessary to serve the province's "1-hour traffic circle" and build Wenzhou North High-speed Railway Station transportation hub.

Wuniu Interchange and Connecting Line on the North Line of Ring Expressway: Optimizing the Layout of Expressway Interchanges on the North Bank of Oujiang River

The Wuniu Interchange and connecting line project on the north line of the Ring Expressway is expected to start within the year. It starts at Dianli Road, Wuniu Street, Yongjia County, and ends at Wuniu Interchange (newly built), with a total investment of 1.338 billion yuan.

The Wuniu Interchange is a reserved interchange for the north line of Wenzhou Ring Expressway. The main line length in the interchange area is 1019 meters. The interchange has one connecting line with a total length of about 2.2 kilometers, a design speed of 80 km/h, and the design standard adopts first-class highway with municipal functions, with six lanes in both directions.

This project is of great significance for optimizing the layout of expressway interchanges on the north bank of the Oujiang River and alleviating local traffic pressure. By improving the overall traffic capacity of the road network, it provides important traffic support for the expressway to support local economic development. The project also builds a 2.2-kilometer interchange connecting line as part of the Wenle Expressway, which will help the formation of Wenzhou's "seven horizontal and seven vertical" urban expressway network.

Liushi Interchange on Yueqing Section of Yongtaiwen Expressway: Adding a Rapid External Channel for Liubai Group in Yueqing

The project of adding Liushi Interchange on the Yueqing section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway is planned to start in the fourth quarter of this year and is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2024.

The Liushi Interchange will adopt an A-type single trumpet style. The main line widening length is about 1.156 kilometers, the total length of ramps is about 2.342 kilometers, and the interchange connecting line adopts the first-class highway standard with a total length of 1.61 kilometers and a design speed of 80 km/h. The toll station adopts a 4-entry and 6-exit mode. The estimated total investment of the project is nearly 900 million yuan.

After completion, the project will enhance the service function of the Yongtaiwen Expressway, optimize the interchange layout, add a rapid external channel for the Liubai group in Yueqing, alleviate regional traffic congestion, and promote regional economic and social development.
